Shopping, Shopping & More Shopping

Yesterday and today it was über cold and since my mom and my sister were missing their warm clothes (thanks to Lufthansa for losing their bags and STILL not getting them to us), we didn't want to go too far from home.  But that didn't mean we couldn't enjoy the spirit of Christmas shopping- which is exactly what we did.

Yesterday we took the car out to do some drive-by sightseeing and some shopping at malls that were too far to walk to.  The driving was beautiful through the small "suburbs" and on the tree-lined roads.

The malls were especially decorated, and extremely crowded!
We went out to the Frauenkirche and the nearby Medieval Market.

It was just a BIT snowy... Mmm, icy ribs!

She must be cold!

Later in the evening, after a break from the cold, we found ourselves at a "dance party" at the Winterhof.

Today we went over to the Hauptstraße Christmas Market in Neustadt.  It was more relaxing than our crazy Christmas Market by our house, and they had a lot of different things that we hadn't seen before.

In fact, it was so cool, we went back tonight and rode this giant ferris wheel:
Here was the view from the top:
And here were some pretty lights we saw on the way home:
